A career in television beckoned - culminating in her arrival in Norwich in 1978 to join the staff of Anglia tv. The media took her all over East Anglia and all over the world - to Nepal, the States and Europe, and she worked on all kinds of programmes and dramas - until ‘burned out’ and exhausted, she was lucky enough to take a completely new direction which led to a freedom and spaciousness - a complete change in outlook and a lightness in movement.
She took the radical decision to leave television in order to train as a teacher of the Alexander technique (a 3 year full time intensive training in London - the best and the hardest 3 years of her life). She has been teaching in Norwich and Worstead since 1995, and more recently also in Kelling, Holt. She has taught in London.
The journey of change was, and is, not always easy, but is always fascinating and liberating. To take on the alexander work of allowing change, and living life effortlessly - is an ongoing continuing process. A pupil once said of Suzanne’s teaching room
- “This is the room where time stands still ...”.
